AI API Integration to Chat UI
Budget: $10 – $50 USD
I recently purchased access to an AI API from a third-party provider. I need an experienced developer to help me complete the final integration and troubleshooting for my setup.
Current Status:
I have Docker installed and running.
I have deployed the "One API" management interface.
I successfully added my third-party AI API as a channel within One API, and the "Test" function passes successfully (the API key is valid).
The Problem:
Although the channel tests fine inside One API, I cannot get any external chat UI (specifically LobeHub / LobeChat) to connect to it. I am unable to send messages or receive responses from the frontend interface.
What I Need From You:
Remote Assistance: Guide me step-by-step via screen share (Zoom/Discord/TeamViewer) or take over to fix the connection.
Configuration Fix: Identify why the external UI cannot reach the One API endpoint (likely a networking/Docker port mapping, reverse proxy, or CORS issue).
Environment Setup: Ensure the frontend (LobeHub) is correctly pointed to the One API base URL and that the tokens are properly formatted.
Testing: Verify that a full chat loop works from the UI to the third-party API and back.
Documentation: Provide me with a short written guide on how to replicate this if I need to restart the server.
Required Skills:
Docker & Docker Compose
One API (or similar OpenAI API gateway management)
Networking (Port mapping, localhost vs. 0.0.0.0, reverse proxies)
Familiarity with LobeHub/LobeChat or similar open-source chat UIs
Basic Linux/Command Line troubleshooting
Deliverable:
A fully functional setup where I can open my browser, type a message in LobeHub, and receive a response from my third-party AI API.
