I have a live WordPress site that I now want to run under a different, already-purchased domain. The brief is straightforward: move the entire site—theme, plugins, database, media, URLs—so it works exactly as it does today, just on the new address. No design tweaks or structural changes are needed; I want visitors to experience the identical layout, content, and functionality they’ve always had.
A clean 301 redirection from every old URL to its corresponding new URL is essential so we preserve SEO value and avoid broken links. Please handle the whole redirect setup on the server side (htaccess or equivalent) along with any Search Console or sitemap updates you normally perform in a migration.
Before you begin, take a full backup and confirm you can restore it if anything goes wrong. Once the migration is complete I’ll test the front-end, admin area, and common plugin functions; payment will be released when everything loads correctly under the new domain and old links resolve as permanent redirects.
