Shopify email troubleshooting: SPF, Google, domain experitse

I am looking to hire a freelancer to help me troubleshoot some email issues I'm having related to my Shopify store. Specifically, invoice email that is generated by Shopify turns up in customer email as spam or flagged as risky. I believe newsletter email is arriving ok, but this may be whitelisted by customers rather than intrinsically trusted.
For email comms I am using a domain hosted by shopify ending in .shop. I set that up after being unable to get google workspace working properly (SPF and DKIM) with Shopify. For my store the primary domain is a .co.nz domain hosted by a third party hosting provider in New Zealand.
My store is running the standard version of Shopify.
The successful freelancer should have domain expertise in email configuration across environments, SPF, DKIM and Google Workspace. Experience in setting up Shopify to use emails, be proficient with various email systems available, as well as have domain knowledge on how to optimize Google integration with the platform. They should also have a good understanding on the setup of SPF records and the ramifications of incorrect implementation.
I would like the current setup tested and reviewed for improvements. With the successful completion of this project, my customers will receive shopify-generated emails (invoices) as trusted email. A good result will include reliable inbox delivery and a better overall user experience.
