One hour Synology NAS configuration project: Digital Cert, Pi-hole

Job ID: 31808641

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I have a new Synology NAS that I want to backup to IDrive using the IDrive Package available for download in the Synology Package Center. Only problem is that IDrive wants to the connect to be SSL and the native connection between my Windows 10 PC and the NAS is not encrypted. The solution is to obtain a self-signed digital cert, install it, install a DNS server, configure it, and I should be ready to go. In fact, all the steps are detailed here:

Unfortunately, I don't quite have enough technical chops to pull this off on my own (and I know I am getting close). So frustrating!

This project involves you connecting to my PC via Remote Assistance and the two of us configuring the steps to make it work. If you can understand the YoutTube video referenced you have the skills for this job. Unfortunately this is maybe an hour of your time. But if you want some quick cash I am happy to pay.
