Mailgun DNS Configuration Specialist

Job ID: 39953150

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I want my notification pipeline to run through Mailgun with rock-solid domain authentication. The plan is to send both system alerts and user-facing updates from a dedicated sub-domain—something like mail.mydomain.com or alerts.mydomain.com—so reputation stays clean and delivery stays high.

I need someone who is a Mailgun EXPERT, not just someone who has used it before. Need for you to understand how to:
a. add a domain to my mailbun account
b. set-up the appropriate DNS entries
c. add the appropriate code to our php Laravel framework website for alerts/notifications when someone registers, volunteers and add a contact us form and a notification when someone submits the contact us form

I already have full access to the domain’s DNS zone. What I need is a Mailgun expert who can look at the whole picture, pick the best sub-domain, and then create and verify every required record—SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX, and the Mailgun tracking CNAME—so that Mailgun’s dashboard shows green across the board.

Deliverables
• A verified sub-domain in my Mailgun account, ready for production
• All DNS records (TXT, MX, CNAME) added and documented
• Proof that Mailgun’s Domain Verification, DKIM, and SPF checks all pass
• A quick test script or curl command demonstrating that notification emails reach the inbox

Acceptance criteria: Mailgun reports “Domain Verified,” messages sent through the test script arrive in the primary inbox (not spam) for at least Gmail and Outlook, and you leave me with a short note explaining any future maintenance steps.

If you live and breathe Mailgun and can get this done fast, I’m ready to start right away.
