KiwiIRC Secure Reverse Proxy Setup

I need KiwiIRC installed on my Ubuntu server and served safely over HTTPS. The machine is already live, running Linux (Ubuntu) and my domain name is pointed at it, so DNS is out of the way.
Your job is to:
• Install the latest stable KiwiIRC (package or source, whichever is cleaner) into /opt or another maintainable path.
• Configure Nginx (or Apache if you prefer) as a reverse proxy that handles WebSockets correctly and forces all traffic through TLS 1.2+ using a valid certificate (Let’s Encrypt is fine).
• Lock down the service—firewall rules, non-root systemd unit, automatic start on boot, and basic hardening best practices.
• Hand over a concise step-by-step log or script so I can reproduce or audit the setup later.
