Hosting Transfer Recovery & Optimization

Job ID: 40020759

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I’ve just switched from one shared host to another and the site has vanished instead of resolving on the new server. My main objective now is rock-solid stability: first get the pages showing again, then fine-tune the environment so unexpected downtime is no longer an issue.

You’ll need to trace whatever in the move went wrong—DNS propagation, mis-pointed A-records, missing databases, SSL conflicts, permissions, or anything else standing between the domain and a clean load—and repair it quickly. Once the site is live, I also want you to tighten the configuration for reliability: check server-side caching, update PHP or MySQL settings if they’re out of date, harden basic security, and leave me a short hand-over note so I can repeat the steps in future.

Deliverables
• Site reachable on the primary domain (and www) from the new host
• All pre-existing functionality intact—database calls, forms, SSL, email routing
• Uptime monitor or log showing at least 24 hours of continuous availability post-fix
• One-page summary of what you changed and any follow-up optimisation tips

If hosting migrations and stability tuning are second nature to you, let’s get started right away.
