We are an open access journal and the purpose of the email blast is to find suitable reviewers and editorial board members.
We have done some research in the area of mass mailing.
We know about IP warm-up, domain warm-up, mailing list cleaning, etc...
But we think we should use commercial EDM instead of building our own email sending system.
Our current thoughts.
1, look for a mail sending program that can integrate with commercial EDM (SendGrid, MailGun or others, at your suggestion), PowerMTA? Interspire? Interspire? at your suggestion
2, the mail system can import lists from Excel or other format files
3, after importing the list, according to the filtering list to weight the relevant email addresses, such as contacted within 30 days, already in the cooperation list, unsubscribed...
4, the system can be sent by IP in rotation, can develop a domain warm-up plan
