DNS technician

My website migrated from Media Temple to Go Daddy and I can no longer see my emails. Go Daddy state that Register.com have to propagate the name server but Register.com say that the site is already propagated. I would like to be able to view my emails on webmail, then add an auto reply directing emails to my new email address (not connected to the website) and then in one month's time, delete the account from Go Daddy.
