DNS Configuration Specialist Needed for Cloudflare and cPanel Integration

We are seeking an experienced DNS Configuration Specialist to help us resolve a domain configuration issue involving Cloudflare and cPanel. Our website is hosted with SiteGround and our email is hosted with another provider using cPanel. DNS management for our domain is handled by Cloudflare.

Current Configuration:

A Record (Website):
domain.com points to 35.214.149.170 (Proxied)
www CNAME to domain.com (Proxied)
A Record (Email):
mail points to 212.18.231.146 (Proxied)
MX Record:
domain.com points to mail.domain.com (DNS only)

Problem:
Previously, with DNS managed by cPanel, we were able to use mail.domain as our mail server. After moving DNS management to Cloudflare, mail.domain no longer works when we added the email in email devices but the email works in the emailclient browser, and we have to specify the cPanel server address directly. We need to revert to using mail.domain as the mail server name.

Deliverables:
Correctly configured DNS records in Cloudflare to ensure mail.domain.com works as the mail server without needing to specify the cPanel server address.
Verification that email services are fully operational using the mail.silvis.nu server name.
