Correct Email DNS Settings - Email EXPERT Needed
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
This job may require you to Reconfigure DNS Email settings records for 3 sites.
I recently transferred Domain Name Registration for 3 sites from GoDaddy to Namecheap.com.
The sites are: andrewscottmusic.com, masterpiecemusic.org, or idealhoroscope.com.
The 3 sites are hosted on a VPS running Webmin/Virtualmin.
I hired 2 developers to configure the DNS settings on my new Registrar, Namecheap, which they claim to have done. However, they both made a mess.
- I'm getting error messages when I send to Gmail;
- I'm receiving DMARC reports that I never used to recive when the DNS was registed at GoDaddy.
The sort of error message I get from Gmail is in the attachment.
As for the DMARC report, I'm getting 2 a day from Microsoft; they're usually like this:
This is a DMARC aggregate report from Microsoft Corporation. For Emails received between 2025-04-15 00:00:00 UTC to 2025-04-16 00:00:00 UTC.
You're receiving this email because you have included your email address in the 'rua' tag of your DMARC record in DNS for andrewscottmusic.com. Please remove your email address from the 'rua' tag if you don't want to receive this email.
Please do not respond to this e-mail. This mailbox is not monitored and you will not receive a response. For any feedback/suggestions, kindly mail to dmarcreportfeedback at microsoft.com.
This service, https://app.dmarcreport.com/, highlights the risks of disabling the reports.
I've never had any hijacking problem in 15 years of email.
But, that doesn' mean it won't happen today.
Still, I'm tempted to either disable the reporting, or sign up for the free service offered by https://app.dmarcreport.com/.
What do you hink?
I want someone with experience in DNS settings and email to ofix this problem ASAP.
NO placemarker bids.
