Hi,

i have problems to connect over VPN to my network drive (Synology NAS) over the URL: smb://nas/test.
It just works when i put in the NAS local IP Adress 10.0.20.88, or the VPN DNS 10.0.30.1. But i want get it working with nas, because when the computer wich is connected over the 10.0.30.1 and he comes in offce and connect to local network may it not work because local we have 10.0.20.1.

My Setup:
I have an Modem with static public ip adress., local network is 10.0.10.1
--- Connected to the Modem is my Ubiquiti Gateway Pro wich has his local network on 10.0.20.1
-------Connected to that is my Ubiquiti Switch
---------- To the switch i connected my Synology NAS wich got the IP adress from Gateway 10.0.20.88, on NAS im running an VPN Server wich gets ip adress from 10.0.30.1 to avoid conflicts with local network (10.0.20.1). Now when i connect from out of office with vpn to my local network wich works fine, and try to add the NAS Network Drive to my computer over SMB (MAC) i need type smb://10.0.20.99/Test, or smb://10.0.30.1. But i want get it work with the name i configured on my nas "nas" so the path should be smb://nas/Test (wich works local in office at the local network (10.0.20.1). So what i read now may i have to do something with my gateway to allow traffic between 10.0.20.1/24 and 10.0.30.1/24, or i have to run an own DNS server on my NAS? I dont know but i want an clean and stable solution to solve my problem.
