E-commerce Product Data Scraper
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need a Python-based scraper that reliably collects e-commerce product data—titles, prices, images, stock status, and product URLs—from Amazon, eBay, and a selection of Shopify stores.
Key points
• Written in clean, well-documented Python (requests/BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, or Playwright—use what suits anti-bot measures best).
• Rotation of user-agents and proxies to avoid blocks or captchas.
• Config file where I can add or remove ASINs, eBay item numbers, or Shopify product handles without editing code.
• Output in CSV and JSON, organised by marketplace and timestamped.
• Simple command-line trigger plus a brief README explaining setup and dependencies.
Deliverables
1. Source code with comments.
2. Requirements.txt or Pipfile.
3. README with setup, run instructions, and sample output.
4. Short video or screenshots proving the script gathers live data from one listing on each site.
I can test on my own machine, but please ensure it runs on a standard Windows or Ubuntu environment using Python 3.9+. If you already have scraping experience with any of these marketplaces, mention it—speed and resilience are critical.
