Work on an existing Django Website - Django, Nginx, Gunicorn, Postgres
Budget: $4 – $25 USD
I am a security consultant in the UK. I currently have an outstanding workload of of two tools (in python and Golang) to be finished before Xmas. A series of six guest lectures for January and I need to finish off an existing C# App for in house delivery by February..... in short I am going to be pretty busy.
While I have 20 years experience in IT and 8 years in Programming I can no longer take on the above workload and spend time on my personal website which is becoming more and more important.
My personal website is created from scratch in Django. I work with a colleague who is a designer. I should warn I have a lot of skill but not a lot of time so this is probably not the project to try out on if you are looking to blag experience of skills.
You must be familiar with GIT as I work with a 4 stage git setup,
local -> create a branched by ticket reference -> push branch to Dev and checkout the branch -> perform pytests and some manual prodding -> merge branch in to development -> push to test server -> run extended pytests -> push and merge to production.
We use a self made ticket system and Discord for internal chat.
Open to negotiate for a fixed amount of regular hours or alternatively on an hourly basis. Work is typically split up in the ticket system and we do have a project management person over seeing the day to day.
The atmosphere will be quite comfortable, think of it as working along side someone who will be creating branches and merging features and coding with you.
Looking for a long term relationship please and potentially someone I can use a again on future projects.
