Web-Developer for Project Inspection and Planning
Budget: €1,500 – €3,000 EUR
The HTW Berlin is a governmental university with deep international ties on campus and online. The university fosters a wide network of international partner institutions. These partners as well as other interested educational service provides and their lecturers should contribute to a network allowing teaching and learning exchange.
The HTW Berlin already developed a Django-based web-platform with different features as proof of concept. The programming has been done by community programmers. The aim is now to assess the current status and plan the next steps.
Topics include:
· Online-meeting for two hours with the head of the project group for a discussion regarding aim of the platform and user stories,
· Reviewing the provided platform implementation to gain a deeper knowledge in the purpose of the platform and raise questions regarding the concept and possible improvements in terms of additional features.
Based on this assessment, the HTW Berlin would like to get a written concept of up to 5 pages text including figures consisting of
· Assessment and criticism of current status (UX, CSS implementation, security, data model)
· Description of steps to improve including estimate of workload needed
· Recommendation and description of working packages to implement new features
· Summary with Pro and Cons, suggestions
Language of discussion is English. Work is being finished ideally in 2 weeks.
Your profile
· Profound experience in Django
· Relevant customer reviews in web programming projects
· Very good command of written and spoken English
