Raw Materials Inventory & Planning

I need a straightforward system that lets my team keep tabs on every kilogram, litre, or box of raw material we hold and links those numbers to our production plan. The core requirement is stock-level tracking that staff enter manually—simple on-screen fields where they can log receipts, issues to the shop-floor, and adjustments.

The application should:
• Show real-time balances for each material, calculated from the manual entries
• Flag low-stock items based on minimum levels I define
• Produce a daily summary I can export to Excel for production scheduling

While the first version relies on manual entry, I’d like the architecture to stay open to future add-ons such as barcode or sensor integration, so please structure tables and APIs with that in mind. A clean web interface (Django, Laravel, Node, or similar) or a lightweight desktop build is fine; pick the stack you work fastest with but keep the code easy to maintain.

1. Database schema and setup script
2. User interface with forms for receive, issue, adjust, and a dashboard for live balances
3. Low-stock alert logic triggered by my threshold settings
4. Brief hand-off guide so my staff can start using it immediately
