Professional Networking Site Build
Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP
I’m ready to turn my concept for a professional networking platform into a fully-functioning website that feels polished, corporate, and trustworthy. The core experience revolves around users creating detailed profiles, finding and connecting with other professionals, and holding one-to-one conversations inside a secure messaging area—all wrapped in a modern, enterprise-grade interface.
Here is the vision in practical terms:
• UX & Visuals
The site must look and behave like a contemporary corporate product: clean lines, restrained color palette, generous white space, and intuitive navigation. Responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile are essential so the platform feels consistent in boardrooms and on the go alike.
• Core Functionality
– Account registration via email and social log-ins.
– Robust profile creation and editing (photo, headline, bio, skills, work history, links, downloadable résumé).
– A “Connect” workflow similar to LinkedIn’s: search or browse, send invite, accept/decline, view mutual contacts.
– Real-time or near-real-time messaging between connected users with read receipts and basic file sharing.
– GDPR-compliant data handling, role-based permissions, and an admin dashboard for user management.
• Tech Preferences
I’m happy to follow your professional lead—whether that involves React + Node, Django, or another secure full-stack framework—as long as performance, scalability, and maintainability stay front and center. Clean, well-documented code and version control in Git are non-negotiable.
• Deliverables & Handover
1. Fully deployed site on my hosting of choice (AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar).
2. Source code with README and environment setup instructions.
3. Style guide / design system files (Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD).
4. Short video walkthrough showing key flows: onboarding, profile editing, connecting, and messaging.
5. Two weeks of post-launch support for bug fixes and minor tweaks.
If you’ve built membership-driven or networking products before and can translate that experience into a stable, elegant solution, I’d love to see your approach and timeline.
