Open-source PR Review & Analysis
Budget: ₹600 – ₹601 INR
The task is with reviewing a PR from a public open-source repository. This PR intends to solve an issue from this open-source repo. Note that the issue has already been solved on Github; however, the new PR you will review was written by a contributor who did not have access to the original solution.
Your goal is to review the PR as if you were a contributor to that repository in the following stages:
Step 1: understand what the PR does
Step 2 / 3 / 4: analyze the code changes and add comments on the code changes
Step 5: catch-all on any other issues
Step 6: questions on the task itself
You are provided with:
The git diff that includes:
The test patch which contains all changes related to test functions and files
The fix patch which contains all other changes
A task google doc that contains:
The metadata on the task (task uid, PR link etc..)
Some commands to run to set up for the task in your IDE
The original problem statement (scraped from Github)
The test logs (which is the output of the tests run)
