Ongoing Django Developer for Business Application
Budget: $15 – $25 CAD
I am an experienced programmer with decades of experience. I always need programmers to outsource work to.
I have used Freelancer many times, so I have some hard requirements.
I am ***NOT*** looking for a team offshore where I deal with a project manager who farms the work out. That's immediate cancel.
I am looking for a programmer. If you are a project manager of somebody else, this is not for you. I will cancel anything the moment I find out.
I need somebody that I can work with on a 20 hour per week basis for at least a few months on a project. This is not a system used in "production" require timely support (yet).
You will be working for me personally on this project. I will ask you to make forms, lists and other standard django features. I *WILL* be reviewing your code that you check into my Git.
I don't want unreadable code. I want maintainable code. If you do not know what Lint (software linter) is, you should not apply.
The development must be done on *MY* (Don't Google it) infrastructure. I don't want to be show new features working off laptop on the other side of the world. I'm not interested in hearing how much time it will save *YOU* in development.
All billing must be done through Freelancer. No exceptions.
I will ONLY pay by the hour. Do *NOT* try to convert me to a fixed price at any point in time. If I change my mind 10 times, that's not a problem because I'm paying by the hour.
Anyone who wants to bill a fixed contract price will not be happy and neither will I.
The moment you try to say you have a team that will do it for a fixed price, the contract ends.
I am building a boring custom business application for a few users.
There is a very basic Django framework, admin interface plus a few front end pages.
The database will be hosted on a 3rd party service.
Ideal candidate..
Django
Postgres
Linux
Git
Docker
Candidates should be comfortable throwing the billable time into whatever I need.
