Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Next.js developer to design and develop the frontend UI for our Hostel Management Web Application. The backend is fully developed in Django, and you will work on integrating the APIs and creating a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Frontend Development using Next.js to build:
- Landing Page with hostel search functionality.
- Hostel Details Page displaying hostel-specific information.
- User Authentication Pages:
- Register (with email verification).
- Login (via email or mobile).
- Forgot Password, OTP Verification, Change Password.
- Customer Dashboard:
- View and search hostels (based on location).
- Book hostels and manage personal details.
- Update room requests and view past hostel records.
- Submit bill approval requests.
- Owner Dashboard:
- Track monthly/yearly income with graphs.
- Manage hostels, rooms, and customer requests (approve/reject).
- View customer details and room occupancy rates.
- Update personal and hostel details.
- Hostel Management Pages:
- Create/Edit hostel details (e.g., name, pictures, gender type, etc.).
- Add/Edit/Delete rooms with room number, sharing type, and price.
- Manage customers and their requests (approve/reject).
- Approve/reject bills and room updates.
- API Integration:
- Consume and integrate Django REST APIs to fetch and display dynamic data.
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and a modern, user-friendly UI/UX design.
- Collaborate with the backend team to resolve integration challenges.
- Optimize frontend performance and ensure SEO-friendly development.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Next.js, React.js, and CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap).
- Experience in consuming *REST APIs* for dynamic data fetching.
- Knowledge of state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API).
- Expertise in creating responsive and mobile-friendly designs.
- Familiarity with authentication systems (e.g., JWT, email OTP verification).
- Strong focus on code quality, performance, and reusability.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in integrating with Django backends.
- Knowledge of charting libraries (e.g., Chart.js, D3.js) for dashboard graphs.
- Familiarity with UI testing and debugging tools.
