Project Overview:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer (Freelancer) to help us set up and manage the infrastructure for deploying 2 web applications and 2 websites built using React.js (Frontend) and Django/Flask (Backend).
Your core responsibilities will include containerizing the apps and websites, deploying them using Docker or Kubernetes, and providing expert consultation and implementation for CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Setup:
Set up and configure a Kubernetes cluster or a Docker-based architecture for production deployment.
Deploy and manage 2 web apps and 2 websites using React.js, Django, and Flask.
Ensure secure networking, service discovery, and load balancing between services.
CI/CD Integration:
Provide expert guidance and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
Set up workflows for automated testing, build, deployment, and rollbacks.
Support environment segregation (staging/production) and versioned deployments.
Consultation & Handover:
Document infrastructure and CI/CD setup clearly for handover.
Conduct walkthrough sessions with the internal dev team.
Requirements:
Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker in real-world deployments.
Experience deploying React.js frontends and Python backends (Django/Flask).
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
Familiarity with best practices around infrastructure security, scalability, and automation.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience with NGINX or Apache as reverse proxies.
Familiarity with SSL configuration and DNS management.
Exposure to infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Helm).
Knowledge of basic monitoring/logging setups
