Django / React / GPT-4 prototype
Budget: $100 – $700 USD
I am looking for a skilled individual Django/React developer to build an application that wraps OpenAI GPT-4. The user will submit a prompt, the prompt will be enriched (code will be provided for enrichment). The application needs to execute API calls and display the output on the screen in real-time (streamed). The website will need to support multiple concurrent requests.
This project is aimed at creating a framework/prototype for the application that will be evaluated and potentially integrated with existing Django/React web application. There is no special requirement on the design part, just some basic input/output textboxes to prove the concept.
The ideal freelancer should have strong skills in API development, Django, and React around multi-threading/async. Additionally, it would be a plus if the developer has experience working with external API services/integrations, especially those related to generative AI (text/image) and audio streaming. Experience with Azure is also preferred.
Please note that I am looking for an individual freelancer rather than a company for this project, with an option for ongoing cooperation after successful project completion.
Key Deliverables:
A Django/React application that executes async calls to OpenAI GPT-4

Backend tech stack: Django 3.2, Postgres
Front-end tech-stack requirements: React 17.x, React Router 5.x
NOTE: at this stage, the project should be only a working prototype that does not require deployment, though it should run in a container.
Freelancer Skillset:
Strong proficiency in Django and React
Strong backend and frontend skills
Experience in multi-threading/async
Experience with API development
Experience with Azure preferred
Excellent communication skills in English
