Django Integration for Quickbooks Desktop
Budget: $750 – $2,500 USD
NOTE: This project is for QuickBooks Desktop, not QuickBooks Online. It does not use the QBO API.
We are looking for an experienced developer to expand the functionality of this open source project: https://github.com/weltlink/django-quickbooks
The end result will be support for Quickbook Desktop sync of the following with our product's API:
-[GET/PATCH] Customer (appears to be functional in django-quickbooks project, though with some logic flaws)
-[GET/PATCH] Jobs (these are like sub-customers in Quickbooks)
-[GET/PATCH] Items (parts/service)
-[POST/PATCH/GET] Invoices (includes item and tax settings)
Currently, we have this project deployed and connecting/syncing Customers between a Quickbooks user and our API.
REQUIREMENTS OF FREELANCER:
-Obtain QuickBooks Developer Account with NFR License for QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise (It's free but you have to call Intuit.
-Prior experience working with QuickBooks (Online or Desktop fine). You will need to know the software to be able to test .
-Proficient spoken English. Meetings may be needed to discuss use case.
Our product has API endpoints to POST the data to. They are clearly documented and include GET, POST, PATCH (where relevant). This is a multi-tenant software solution and the integration will have to be designed for customer self onboarding.
