Django App

Job ID: 37076999

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

I am looking for a django app to be created.

To get an idea of what I am looking for you can have a look at lawdepot.com and see how you can select a template document and then fill in the fields for that specific template to have a completed document.

This is the basic concept of the app.

In the admin area a staff member (non-programmer) needs to be able to create the user inputs fields needed for a template. The user input fields may be used for many documents, however if a new user input field is required for a specific document template the staff member needs the ability to be able to create the user input fields as required/needed.

The staff member then needs to be able to create the document template and put these user input fields in where they are needed throughout the document.

The template then needs a way to be able to add it to a webpage or multiple webpages such as in a category or in a blog post or widget area or drop down menu etc.

The template must number each page in the format of 'Page X of Y'. This is required for every template to conform to legality requirements and needs to be hard coded so every template has this numbering format. This part is critical because if they are not numbered this way the document is useless.

There needs to be a way to be able to add paragraphs to a document and a toggle whether the paragraphs are numbered or not, there also needs to be a way to add another paragraph after you have created the previous. To understand this easily would be to look at the format of an affidavit. You never know how many paragraphs you would need and whether they are all required to be numbered or not.

A affidavit is a good template to run off as it ticks many of the boxes but there are also many boxes it doesn't tick. As I mentioned above lawdepot.com is what I am trying to accomplish with the creation of the templates through a django app so I can create any sort of document template I would like. Maybe try and create a few different documents on the lawdepot.com website and it will show you what I am looking for. It is free to create the template documents on lawdepot.com, it only costs when you want to download them.

It requires a watermark feature and a display feature as a png or jpg format. People can create the document first and go back over it until they get it correct and will see it displayed in a format that they cannot cut and paste from such as png or jpg. Once they have the document correct they can then pay for it and have the ability to download it in a pdf format so they can print it on the own local printer.

The payment part is not required, but the app needs to be setup this way so the above can be implemented through permissions, not sure on how to accomplish this so am open to suggestions as I am unsure if all templates will be required for payment, maybe some templates will be free once they are logged in and some may require payment. It just needs to be created with the feature so it can be implemented if needed and instructions will be required in the Readme.txt file.

I require a complete drop in django app that allows a staff member to create any document template as needed, mostly for legal purposes. There will need to be a rich text editor feature for the template creation area that has all the format features you would find in a basic word processor software including tables, formatting options and font, color etc.

A complete drop in django app with a requirements.txt file and a readme.txt file on installation.
