Its a vending machine that accepts cash and dispenses bitcoin. The bill acceptor uses MDB/ICP protocol and the vending machine controler (VMC) is a Raspberry Pi Zero.
I have a bill acceptor, brand Coges, model Creos 300, it works with MDB/ICP protocol and this is the connection and cable (image referrence in link https://pasteboard.co/Gu0YeRVS39Gg.jpg )
This needs to connect to a raspberry pi , the bill acceptor is a Slave and the Rapsberry pi is a Master
When someone inserts a bill, the bill acceptor should tell the raspberry pi how much money it is and then the raspberry pi creates the LNURL (bitcoin) and display the QR on the screen (e-paper 2.7 inch with HAT)
