Arabic Django Web App: Add Picture & Audio Recording + Admin Features
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have an existing Django web application (already partially built) that helps Arabic-speaking children practice pronunciation. It displays pictures, the user hears a word, then repeats it.
I need a skilled Django developer who speaks Arabic to enhance this app by:
1. Add a Page to Upload Pictures & Record Audio
• I want an interface where the admin can upload a new image and record (or upload) the audio of the word in the browser.
• This audio file should be saved and associated with the new image in the database.
• The upload form must be easy to use (drag & drop or a simple “Select file” button) with an option to record audio directly if possible.
2. Secure Admin Page
• A password-protected admin area for adding and managing images/audio.
• This can be either:
• A custom admin page with user authentication, or
• Use the standard Django Admin but extended/styled for the project’s needs.
• Either way, it must allow for future enhancements (I can add more fields later if I want).
3. Performance & Design
• The site must be fast, with good design. (Use modern HTML/CSS and follow best practices for front-end performance.)
• Keep the design consistent and user-friendly, especially since it’s intended for children.
4. Django Codebase Continuation
• This is not a “Wix” or no-code approach. I want real Django code so that I (the owner) can further develop it later.
• Please keep the code organized and well-documented so I can maintain it in the future.
5. Arabic Language Support
• The entire site is in Arabic, so I prefer a developer who is comfortable with Arabic text and right-to-left layouts.
• The new features (upload forms, admin pages, etc.) should also be displayed in Arabic.
Deliverables
• A working Django project that includes the new pages (upload/record) and a password-protected admin.
• The ability for me to log in as admin, add images, record audio, and associate them with the correct Arabic word.
• Deployment instructions or at least a local installation guide so I can run it and test everything.
