We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer to build an Affiliate Portal and implement critical system fixes for our platform. The affiliate portal will integrate into our existing website, and the developer must choose between two implementation methods, we are open to different proposals. The system fixes involve automating processes, improving tracking, and fixing subscription/payment-related issues.
Affiliate Portal Development ($1000 Budget)
Objective:
Develop an affiliate tracking system where affiliates earn a 15% commission on successful payments using their promo codes. The portal should allow affiliates to track earnings, view payment history, and manage payouts.
Implementation Methods:
The developer can choose one of the two approaches:
Promo Code-Based Tracking (Stripe Payment Events)
Detect promo codes used at checkout.
Link promo codes to affiliates stored in MongoDB (or a separate DB if required).
Calculate commission (15%) for each successful payment.
Display earnings and history within the affiliate portal.
Ensure promo codes dynamically match active promotions.
Affiliate Link Tracking (Session Cookies)
Affiliates generate tracking links from their portal.
Cookies track user sessions to confirm payments.
Affiliates can label links to track effectiveness.
Ensure reliable tracking without adblocker or incognito mode issues.
Portal Features:
Dashboard:
Display total earnings, commissions, and a graphical chart.
History of payments with commission calculations.
Authentication:
Login, Forgot Password, and Registration.
Collect Tax ID/SSN, account/routing number (optional, for payouts).
Admin Features:
Ability to adjust commission rates per affiliate.
FAQ section explaining payout methods and tracking details.
Payout System:
Affiliates must reach $600 minimum for payout.
If automated payout is feasible, integrate Stripe or crypto.
If not, provide manual payout methods (wire transfer, etc.).
Developer Requirement:
Must message with a proposal on how they would implement this before being considered.
Do not recommend use of Rewardful affiliate integration as we have tried that but it has only led to us finding out that customers of affiliates who make purchases need to be on incognito browsers and not use an adblockers otherwise rewardful does not pick up payments.
Should have experience with Stripe API, MongoDB, and affiliate tracking.
System Fixes & Improvements ($1000 Budget)
1. Automation Fix: Add_User Request Issue
Fix incorrect formatting in add_user request sent via SFTP to Rithmic.
Ensure values are correctly aligned.
Implement validation to prevent incomplete form submissions.
Fix Canada/Ontario state selection issue preventing form submission.
2. Retry Logic for Rithmic Connection Errors
Implement retry logic for Rithmic timeouts.
Handle failures due to downtime with automatic resubmission.
Set retry limits and logging for debugging.
3. Trading Activity Dashboard - EOD Reports
Fetch daily End-of-Day (EOD) reports from Rithmic.
Process and display the latest performance report.
Implement a cron job to automate report retrieval and parsing.
4. Stripe Payment Link Fix
Fix coupon enforcement issues.
Ensure prices update dynamically from Stripe instead of MongoDB.
Modify checkout flow to use static Stripe product-based links.
5. Subscription Package Updates & Cancellation Feature
Fix incorrect Standard Path details (remove Free Reset Fee, fix Activation Fee display).
Add subscription cancellation functionality:
Users cancel via dashboard.
Accounts stay active until rebill date.
Disable accounts in Rithmic after rebill.
6. Addition of Instant Funding
Integrate Instant Funding as a new offering.
Update MongoDB plans collection for new payment flows.
