Discord Server Setup & Configuration – Day Trading Community
Project Overview
We're looking for an experienced Discord server builder to help us set up, secure, and fully configure our day trading / IVFG trading community server. We currently have around 67 members and are actively looking to grow. This is a build/setup project, not an ongoing staffing role — we want someone to come in, do it right, and leave us with a clean, professional, fully operational server we can run ourselves.
What We Need Done
Security & Moderation
Full server security setup — protection against raids, griefing, and unauthorized access
Link-filtering so members cannot post unsolicited or harmful links
Anti-spam and anti-bot protection
Role-based permission structure so we have full control as admins
Bots & Automation
Welcome/onboarding bot that notifies and greets new members when they join
Moderation bots (e.g. MEE6, Dyno, or your recommendation)
Auto-role assignment
Any other bots you'd recommend for a growing trading community
Engagement & Fun
Setup of at least one or two interactive games or activity bots (e.g. economy bots, trivia, etc.) to keep the server lively and encourage member retention
Open to your suggestions here — we trust your expertise
Professional Look & Feel
Clean, organized channel structure fitting a trading community
Proper server branding setup (we'll provide assets if needed)
Verification or onboarding flow for new members
How We Want to Work Together
We'd like to kick things off with a short brainstorming call where you walk us through your ideas, hear ours, and we land on a plan together. Once the server is built, we'd also appreciate a quick handoff/walkthrough so we understand how everything works well enough to moderate it ourselves going forward — not a full training, just a "here's what does what" overview.
Timeline
We're expecting this to be roughly a one-day or single-session project for someone with the right experience. Straightforward scope, no fluff.
Budget
Our budget is approximately $30–$50 CAD and we believe this is fair for the scope. That said, we're open to offers — if you can clearly justify additional value, we're willing to have that conversation. Please include your proposed rate and a brief note on your Discord experience when you apply.
Who We're Looking For
Demonstrable experience building and configuring Discord servers from scratch
Familiar with popular moderation and utility bots
Has worked with community or niche servers before (trading, gaming, content creation, etc.)
Communicates clearly and can explain what they're doing in plain terms
Reliable, efficient, and respectful of a tight scope
