Full-Featured Discord Study Bot
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I’m building a focused study community and need a custom bot that does everything Leo Study Bot offers—then some. The bot has to run smoothly on a mid-size server and be coded so new features can be bolted on without a full rewrite.
Core feature set
• Voice XP tracking that rewards minutes spent in study voice channels.
• Flexible role ranking tied to that XP, with automatic role updates and corresponding alert posts.
• Leaderboards that reset automatically on a monthly, weekly, and yearly cycle, plus an all-time view.
• Ticket system for support requests.
• “Cam alert” accountability ping when someone streams their webcam in a study room.
• Custom study room generator: on demand voice channels that self-delete when empty.
• Verification flow for newcomers.
• Country-vs-country competition: the bot totals each nation’s collective XP, crowns a weekly winner, and assigns a flag role for bragging rights.
• Counting calculator channel that tracks correct sequential counts and flags errors.
• Simple economy (earn / spend points) to keep engagement high.
• Music playback (basic queue, skip, volume).
Moderation & logging
• Welcome logs, invite joins/exits, mod actions, kick/ban/timeout notices—all posted neatly in designated channels.
• Cam alert and role-rank update messages.
Tech & delivery
I don’t mind whether you use discord.js, Python discord.py, or another robust framework, as long as the code is clean, documented, and uses a database such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL to persist XP, economy, and leaderboard data. I’ll host on my own VPS, so a clear README with setup instructions and env variables is essential.
Acceptance criteria
1. All listed features work on a test server with 2000+ concurrent users.
2. Commands are slash-based where practical.
3. Error handling is visible only to staff.
4. README lets me redeploy in one command.
5. Source code passes a quick lint check.
If this sounds exciting and you’ve shipped comparable Discord bots before, let’s talk timelines and milestones—keen to get the first MVP online quickly and iterate together.
