DigitalOcean Web Server Setup
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a fresh DigitalOcean droplet ready and need a complete web-server installation carried out. The end goal is to have a production-ready environment that I can immediately start deploying sites to.
Here is what I’m after:
• Provision the droplet, harden SSH, and configure UFW or an equivalent firewall.
• Install and tune a web server; I’m open to Apache, Nginx, or LiteSpeed—please suggest the most suitable option for long-term stability and performance.
• Add the usual stack components (PHP, MySQL/MariaDB, or any lightweight alternative you recommend) so everything works smoothly together.
• Enable HTTPS with Let’s Encrypt and set up automated certificate renewal.
• Provide a brief hand-over note (commands used, key config paths, and how to restart services) so I can manage the box on my own later.
I haven’t locked down an operating system, so feel free to use Ubuntu, CentOS, or Debian—whichever fits best with your proposed stack.
If you’re confident setting up secure, maintainable servers on DigitalOcean and can deliver these items quickly, I’d love to work with you.
