Your organization is in the business of telecom towers construction & is planning to venture into a holistic digital transformation project that will take the organization to another level. The organization is managing operations in multiple countries, they have already rolled out an ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics) and out of all its modules, they are only using the Finance module currently in all countries. The organization prefers cloud-based solution & avoids any on-prem systems. Their IT infrastructure is minimal, all offices across the countries have a simple & secure Wi-Fi network to access their cloud platforms (Erp & other)
As Head of Digital Technology & IT, you must build the digital & IT strategy that will cover multiple integrated solutions for the organization. These digital solutions should eliminate manual work & allow the organization to reach its ultimate digital vision “Paperless organization by 2030”.
Your assignment:
Your Digital & IT Strategy should be submitted in the form of a neat PowerPoint presentation of no more than 15 slides.
• The overall strategy should cover Sales, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, Quality & HSE, Project Management, taking assumption that almost everything is managed manually with outdated processes
• Ensure AI / ML, adoption of new technologies are included in the roadmap
• Data management & KPI visualization on tool such as PBI
• Include in your presentation a slide about integrations.
• The organization is weak in cybersecurity & IT controls
• One of your slides should be dedicated to risk identification & treatment
• One of your slides should be about the high-level project plan & timeline for execution, along with resources and skills needed
