Hybrid ANC Design on ADAU1787

Job ID: 40010611

Budget: ₹37,500 – ₹75,000 INR

I have an EVAL-ADAU1787Z board on the bench and need a complete hybrid, 3-band ANC signal flow built in SigmaStudio. The design must use four analog microphone inputs—two reference and two error channels—and drive the on-board DAC outputs. Target noise is the constant background hum typical of aviation engines, so broadband, low-frequency attenuation is critical.

The core requirement is a tuneable filter structure: when I open the SigmaStudio file I should be able to adjust crossover points, filter coefficients and adaptation parameters, save, compile and flash—offline tuning is fine; no live parameter tweaking is necessary once the image is loaded.

Key expectations
• Hybrid feed-forward / feedback topology covering three distinct bands
• Implementation and routing of all four mic channels to the adaptive filters, then to the DAC outputs
• Clean, well-labelled SigmaStudio project that compiles without errors for the ADAU1787 target
• Brief report describing algorithm choices, filter blocks used, and guidance on retuning for different aircraft types

Please only respond if you have hands-on experience with SigmaStudio and have shipped ANC or similar audio DSP designs on the ADAU1787 (or close family). Success is the board cancelling engine noise on my test rig with measurable attenuation across the intended bands.
