My romantasy novel is headed to both Kindle and paperback, and it now needs a striking, human-designed cover. I work in a realistic visual style and want the finished art to spotlight my two central characters set against a vivid fantasy backdrop. The palette guidance will come from me once you’ve seen the brief; I already have several AI-generated mock pieces and a full blurb to steer mood, lighting, and composition.

The artwork must be created entirely by you—no AI tools, stock composites, or automated filters. Digital painting in Photoshop or Illustrator is ideal, but any professional method that delivers clean, original work is fine.

Deliverables

• Full paperback wrap (6 × 9 in, spine width supplied on award, CMYK, 300 dpi, print-ready PDF)
• Layered source file (PSD or AI) plus flattened TIFF/JPEG

I’ll supply: novel blurb, exact trim and bleed sizes, reference images, and a short style sheet. Two concept sketches, one polished draft, and two revision rounds should be enough to lock everything. Final sign-off is when the files upload cleanly to KDP without warnings and the printed proof matches the digital.
