Realistic Video Game Character Design
Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR
I’m building a new video game and need an artist who can bring believable, visually striking characters to life. The brief is exclusively focused on realistic character design—think nuanced anatomy, lifelike textures, and expressive poses that will translate seamlessly into a 3-D production pipeline later on.
You’ll receive a short lore document, personality notes, and a handful of rough thumbnails I sketched to capture overall mood. From there, I’d like you to develop polished concept sheets that include:
• Clean front, side, and back orthographic views
• A dynamic action pose to showcase attitude
• Close-ups of key costume and prop details
• A concise colour palette reference
Please deliver layered PSD (or Procreate) files plus high-resolution PNG exports so my in-house team can move straight into modelling. If you prefer working in Clip Studio Paint or Illustrator, that’s fine—just make sure the final assets are easy to hand off and preserve layer data.
Fluency with human anatomy, photo-bashing techniques, and digital painting tools such as Photoshop’s mixer brush is essential; familiarity with Blender for rough 3-D block-outs is a bonus but not mandatory. Final artwork must hit 4K resolution to future-proof for marketing splash screens.
I’m ready to answer any lore or style questions as you iterate, and I’ll provide timely feedback on each milestone so you can focus on what you do best—designing unforgettable, realistic characters for gamers to connect with.
