Hello everyone I am Avery Bennet from the Caribbean Islands. Currently, I am a first year student at University doing Bachelor of medicine and Bachelor of surgery (MBBS). Since I was born ,my father Hajjer Myursei who is disabled and sole breadwinner of the family told my relatives that my daughter will become a doctor. His dream became my dream. I worked hard in primary school up to secondary where scored 82% in 12 examinations and 94% in 13 examinations. I was hoping to get a scholarship to do my MBBS program but unfortunately the government decided not to give scholarships that year. As my father is the sole income earner, he finds it difficult to support my education. Some good Samaritan’s have helped me to get continue my studies in MBBS course ,I earnestly request for some financial help for my tuition fee which is approximately 13,000 dollars per year . My father is able to accommodate my travelling, food and textbook cost. Also, I mostly try and borrow textbooks from some students. I have always seen myself in a doctor’s attire through the eyes of my father. I have never thought of any other profession. I have a genuine passion for medicine and I know that I have the zeal in me to become one. All I request from good and generous people out there around the globe is to help me achieve my dream.
