Senior Voluntary Benefits Sales Manager

Job ID: 40369493

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I’m ramping up our Employee Voluntary Benefits division and need a seasoned sales professional who can take the lead on growth while keeping service levels high. Your first responsibility is pure production: drive new group cases and upsell voluntary lines to our existing book. My immediate goal is to expand the customer base and lift overall sales volume, so everything we do has to point in that direction.

Here’s how I see the first phase unfolding:

• Digital marketing campaigns – craft the messaging, choose the right paid and organic channels, and launch quickly so we have measurable pipeline activity within the first month.
• Cross-selling our current client roster – build a lightweight playbook, train account reps on positioning, and monitor hit rates in our CRM (Salesforce or HubSpot, your choice).
• Consistent, in-person visibility – represent us at a weekly business-management networking breakfast I attend; I’ll introduce you at the first meeting, after that you own the room and turn contacts into prospects.

Success looks like two qualified appointments per week from brand-new organizations and at least one additional voluntary line sold into 15 % of the existing groups during the initial 90-day push. I handle plan design and carrier relationships; you focus on prospecting, presenting, and closing. Solid customer-service instincts are important because you’ll stay on as the point of contact for the groups you sell.

If you have a proven voluntary benefits track record, can manage your own pipeline, and are comfortable mixing digital tactics with face-to-face networking, let’s talk details and timeline.
