Scrap Sourcing Lead Generation Campaign
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Objective:
To design and test a small-scale digital marketing workflow for sourcing scrap metals (primarily nickel alloys, molybdenum alloys, and tool steel scrap – more details to be shared during the execution) from scrap yards and recyclers. The goal is to evaluate contractor performance in building a landing page, generating qualified leads, and executing a targeted outreach campaign.
Scope of Work (3 Components):
1. Landing Page (Lead Capture)
- Create a test landing page using Carrd, Wix, Webflow, or Unbounce.
- Page should: Present the value proposition of being a trusted buyer of high-value scrap metals. Highlight interest in nickel alloys, molybdenum alloys, tool steels. Contain clear CTAs (“Sell Your Scrap”, “Request a Pickup/Quote”). Include a lead capture form: Name, Company, Role, Email, Phone, Scrap Category, Location.
- This page will sit under the main page that combines the two workstreams – steel scrap sourcing, and engineered steel & finished/semi-finished steel components
- Note: Test only; final chosen design will be rehosted under our domain.
2. Lead Generation (Data Gathering)
- Identify 50+ qualified B2B leads of scrap yards and recyclers.
- Leads must meet the Lead Qualification Checklist – Scrap Sourcing (see Appendix).
- Deliver leads in Excel/CSV format.
3. Digital Outreach Campaign
- Run a pilot outreach campaign to identified leads using email marketing, LinkedIn outreach.
- Messaging should: Introduce us as a buyer of nickel alloys, molybdenum alloys, and tool steel scrap (more details to be shared during the execution). Emphasize reliability, competitive pricing, and global demand.
- Track and report engagement metrics.
Deliverables:
1. Functional landing page prototype hosted on test platform.
2. 50+ qualified leads in structured Excel/CSV format.
3. Campaign performance summary report with engagement metrics.
Evaluation Criteria:
- Landing page design: clarity, professionalism, relevance to scrap suppliers.
- Lead quality: alignment with checklist, verified contacts.
- Campaign execution: engagement rates, reporting clarity, professionalism.
Appendix – Lead Qualification Checklist (Scrap Sourcing):
- Company Relevance: scrap yard, industrial recycler, scrap dealer. Exclude e-waste-only or junk removal.
- Contact Person: owner, CEO, partner, yard manager, sales manager. Exclude info@ only contacts.
- Contact Details: direct verified email mandatory; phone preferred; website included.
- Geographic Information: city, state, country included.
- Data Quality: no duplicates, no bounced emails, 70%+ with name + direct email.
