SEO Specialist for Quality Backlink Building

Job ID: 40315377

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

Looking for an SEO expert our primary job is building high-quality backlinks.

About OneMetrik (https://onemetrik.com/)

We're a small, AI-native performance marketing agency based in Bengaluru, working with B2B SaaS companies on Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and SEO. We run lean, move fast, and use AI tools daily to punch above our weight. We're looking for someone who wants to own off-page SEO execution across our client accounts and our own brand.

Here's what a typical week looks like:

Off-Page SEO (70% of your time)
Prospect and qualify link building opportunities (guest posts, resource pages, niche directories) using Ahrefs and Google search operators
Write and send personalized outreach emails to editors, bloggers, and publishers — not spray-and-pray templates
Monitor and respond to HARO / Connectively / Help a B2B Writer journalist queries daily
Find and convert unlinked brand mentions into backlinks
Track competitor backlinks and identify replicable opportunities
Maintain the link building pipeline tracker (prospect → outreach → follow-up → placed → live)

On-Page SEO Support (20% of your time)

Audit and fix meta titles, descriptions, header tags, and internal linking structures
Run technical SEO checks (broken links, redirect chains, crawl errors, page speed issues)
Implement on-page optimizations based on keyword mapping and content briefs

Reporting (10% of your time)

Weekly backlink activity report (outreach sent, responses, links placed, DR of linking domains)
Monthly SEO performance summary (referring domains growth, keyword ranking changes, organic traffic trends)

You're a Great Fit If

You have 1–2 years of hands-on link building experience (agency experience preferred)
You've personally built backlinks through guest posting, outreach, or digital PR — not just managed a team that did
You can write a compelling outreach email that doesn't sound like every other template on the internet
You know your way around Ahrefs (or SEMrush) — backlink analysis, content explorer, site audit
You understand the difference between a DR60 contextual link from a relevant site and a DR40 link from a generic "business tips" blog
You're disciplined about daily habits — off-page SEO is a consistency game, not a creativity game
You're comfortable working remotely, managing your own time, and communicating async via Slack/WhatsApp
