Freelance Project Brief — Roadrunner Transportation Systems
Project Overview
Roadrunner is an LTL freight carrier operating terminals across the United States. Many locations currently have low star ratings, incomplete or inaccurate Google Business Profile (GBP) listings, and unaddressed reviews — creating a poor first impression for prospective customers and drivers.
This project engages a freelancer to audit, claim, optimize, and actively improve the GBP presence for each Roadrunner terminal. Work will be completed one location at a time.
Primary Goal
Raise each terminal location to a minimum 3-star Google rating through proactive review generation, profile optimization, and ongoing reputation management.
Scope of Work
Task and Details
Claim & Verify Listing- Establish Roadrunner as the verified owner of each GBP location. Coordinate with the client contact for any required verification steps (postcard, phone, or video).
Audit Listing Accuracy- Review and correct business name, address, phone number, hours, website URL, service categories, and photos for each location.
Remove Irrelevant Reviews- Flag and submit removal requests for reviews that are clearly for the wrong businesses (same or similar name), spam, or policy violations. Document each flagged review and outcome.
Respond to Reviews- Write professional responses to all unaddressed negative and positive reviews. Tone should be direct, courteous, and solutions-oriented.
Customer Review Outreach- Develop and execute a short outreach sequence targeting recent Roadrunner customers to request honest Google reviews.
Driver Review Outreach- Develop and execute outreach targeting current and recent drivers. Coordinate with client on approved channels (email, text, in-terminal signage).
Process
Work will be completed sequentially — one terminal at a time. For each location, the freelancer will:
• Complete a pre-work audit (current rating, review count, listing accuracy, ownership status)
• Submit a brief status summary to the Roadrunner point of contact before beginning active work
• Execute all tasks within the scope above
• Deliver a post-completion summary (updated rating, actions taken, reviews removed, reviews generated, outstanding items)
• Receive sign-off before moving to the next location
Deliverables
• Verified GBP ownership for each completed location
• Accurate and fully completed listing information
• Documented review removal requests with outcomes
• Written responses posted to all unaddressed reviews
• Outreach templates (customer + driver) submitted for client approval before use
• Per-location completion summary report
What Roadrunner Will Provide
• List of all terminal locations with addresses and current GBP URLs (where known)
• Prioritized order of locations to work through
• Brand voice guidelines and approved messaging for review responses
• Access to customer and driver contact lists for outreach (with appropriate permissions)
• Designated point of contact for approvals and GBP verification steps
Proposal Requirements
