Lead-Gen Marketing for Sports Photographer

Job ID: 40533722

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m a photographer-videographer whose portfolio sits at the intersection of sport, fitness and active lifestyles, with occasional dives into live music and pet-centric shoots. Up to now almost all my work has come from word-of-mouth; I’m ready to turn that into a predictable pipeline of high-profile clients and I need a digital marketing partner who already knows how to do this for creatives like me.

Primary focus
My core market is Sports & Fitness, so every campaign, caption and call-to-action has to resonate with brands, gyms, events and athletes who value strong, story-driven visuals. Experience in music/live concert events or pet niches is a plus because I do cross over, but sports comes first.

Goals
• Generate qualified, ready-to-book leads—athletic apparel brands, event organisers, training facilities, agents, athletes.
• Achieve this largely through organic growth; paid ads may follow later but the foundation must be compelling content and consistent community engagement.

Scope of work
1. Content Marketing
– Audit my current library (photos, reels, BTS footage) and map it to a 3-month content calendar.
– Develop storytelling angles that position me as the go-to visual collaborator for sports and fitness campaigns.
– Write platform-specific captions, blog snippets and outreach emails that drive enquiries rather than just likes.

2. Social Media Management
– Own day-to-day posting on Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, optimising timing, hashtags and formats for organic reach.
– Actively engage with target accounts, comment threads and relevant community hashtags to spark conversations that convert into discovery calls.
– Track KPIs (follower growth, saves, DMs, qualified leads) and present concise weekly reports so we can pivot fast.

Acceptance criteria
• Minimum two high-quality inbound leads per week by the end of month two.
• Consistent month-over-month growth in profile visits and saves.
• Clear evidence of outreach to—and responses from—tier-one or tier-two sports brands.

If your past campaigns for photographers or videographers have already delivered these kinds of results, let’s talk. Show me the numbers, outline your process and show me proof of what you've done. If you don't have the previous experience, please do not bid and waste my time and yours. I will ask for a reference or two for a check that I will perform.
