Freelance Media Planner / Digital Media Planner

This is a remote working position for Lion & Lion Malaysia under the Media Performance Marketing Team.

Your role:
Work under the direction of the Head of Media to assist on winning media pitches and planning on new and existing clients.
Assist in building decks and developing strategy of multi-channel digital media. campaigns, including the strategic rationale for media plan options and media channel usage on all new business (Major/focus accounts).
Assist on media pitches by conducting research and developing audience data and insights and advising on KPIs and performance.
Keep up with trends in the digital media space - in particular ad formats on most common social media platforms and general best practices across digital media.
Keeping up with key metrics (like CPI, CPM, conversion rates etc.) across all our key markets.
Incorporate a strong understanding of digital media terminology and concepts into media plans and further into how we illustrate media in presentations.
Drive innovation within media by putting forward fresh ideas to improve performance.
Articulate complex digital proposals into clear concise strategies.


Advanced Tools Knowledge:
GWI, Facebook audience insights, GA, FB Reach planner, YT Reach planner

Your profile:
Minimum of two years agency-side or brand-side exposure.
Available within reach during working hours 9.30AM - 630PM Malaysia timing (GMT).
Written and oral fluency in English is required.
Planning experience across multiple digital channels but mainly PPC, Display, and Paid Social.
Hands-on experience in using analytics tools like Google Analytics and ad servers.
Highly analytical with a strong understanding of media metrics.
Demonstrated critical strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Exposure with supplier and ad tech contract/rate negotiations.
Experience in setting KPI’s and deliverables.
Ability to partner with other leaders (Creative, Social, and CRM) to align teams’ content output across channels.
