Digital Performance Audit for Retirement Living
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
Project:
Independent Digital Performance Audit
About:
We run a branding consultancy business. One of our clients is a leading Retirement Living community dedicated to high-quality lifestyles and exceptional resident experiences.
Their digital presence supports our aim to drive leads among our target market and educate interested parties about life in an Integrated Retirement Community – offering meaningful engagement throughout every stage of the customer journey.
What We Need:
We're seeking an experienced digital analyst for an independent review of our website and digital marketing channels (PPC, SEO, Meta Advertising). The goal is to understand which channels and campaigns are reaching and converting our audiences, how messages and content drive engagement, and how well we track visitors from first contact right through to booking a tour or deciding to purchase a property.
Scope of Work:
• Audit all digital traffic sources and flows, including multi-touch attribution (not just first or last click) to reveal which channels and messages influence conversions.
• Benchmark website and campaign performance against other UK Retirement Living communities to highlight strengths and opportunities.
• Assess and recommend improvements to our Google Analytics 4 (GA4) setup, including event tracking for all key actions: tour bookings, form submissions and clicks.
• Make recommendation on using UTM tracking across every platform and campaign.
• Map the digital customer journey, identifying friction points and drop-offs.
• Provide clear recommendations on optimising spend and tracking, ensuring future marketing efforts are measured and focused.
Expected Deliverables:
• A detailed yet accessible report and/or presentation that summarises findings, identifies actionable insights, and gives clear guidance for growth and improved tracking.
• Recommendations for attribution modelling, analytics setup, benchmarking, and ongoing measurement.
• HOW to convert the existing site traffic into active engagement through the various CTA: Book a tour, request brochure, general enquiry, telephone us etc.
• Delivery within the next ten days (by 21st September)
Who We’re Looking For:
The ideal applicant combines technical expertise in web analytics, marketing attribution, and GA4 event setup, with a practical understanding of how real people interact with digital touchpoints in retirement living and property sectors. Human insight and clarity matter as much as technical rigour.
Things to note:
This work is in the nascent Retirement Village sector and is NOT Care Homes, because that has a dissimilar set of drivers of consumer behaviour. Care Needs are needs-driven, often at a point of stress or need around a medical or mobility event. By contrast, Retirement Villages are about lifestyle choice, downsizing, and choosing an active, independent lifestyle etc.
