Digital Marketing Specialist – Promote Online Course

Job ID: 39802638

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

Budget: Fixed price $75–$100 (test phase)
Scope: Small-scale, results-driven campaign to promote a newly launched online course.
Timeline: 2 weeks max for this initial test.

About the Course

Platform: Udemy (live since June 26, 2025)

Title: Go Viral on Instagram: Reels with AI, Canva & CapCut (2025)

Current Stats: 1,000 enrollments (mostly free coupons), 4.46 rating

Goal: Generate paid enrollments and verified reviews by targeting creators, solopreneurs, and marketers.

Phase 1 (Milestone 1: $50–$70)

Deliverables:

Promotion Plan (Documented) – Short outline of platforms/channels you’ll target (e.g., Meta Ads, TikTok, Reddit communities, Instagram, LinkedIn).

Proof of Setup – Screenshots/links showing ads or campaigns are live.

Traffic & Enrollment Report – A 7-day report on impressions, clicks, and enrollments generated.

Pre-requisites before payout:

Names/links of groups, pages, or ad platforms for review before posting.

Transparent ad account access or screenshots of spend + targeting.

Udemy-safe, GDPR-compliant practices only.

Phase 2 (Milestone 2: $25–$30)

Deliverables:

Final summary report of enrollments and reviews gained.

Proof of placements (links/screenshots of ads or organic posts).

Suggestions for scaling (ads, influencers, organic channels).

Important Budget Note (Please Read Carefully)

Do NOT request $300+ for ads in this test project.
Maximum ad spend allowed is $50–$100 on top of your freelancer fee.

Success will be defined upfront:
If $100 ad spend produces fewer than 3 paid enrollments, the campaign will not be scaled further.

This ensures transparency, protects both sides, and keeps the test phase realistic.

Required Freelancer Qualifications

Past experience promoting online courses (Udemy, Teachable, Skillshare, Kajabi, or similar).

Clear proof of past campaigns (case studies, screenshots with visible conversions, or instructor references).

Ability to communicate promptly despite UK/US time zones.

Commitment to quality traffic only (no bots, spam groups, or fake reviews).

Red Flags / Disqualifiers

No proof of past course promotion.

Over-promising (“guaranteed enrollments” without evidence).

Asking for large ad budgets upfront.

Lack of transparency in reporting placements.

How to Apply

Please include in your proposal:

One example of a past course promotion you managed (with results).

Platforms/groups you would target for this project.

Expected deliverables within the 2-week test phase.

This test project is designed to find a long-term partner.
If successful, a larger campaign ($200–$250+) will follow.
