Digital Marketing & SEO Expert for Financial Services

We are a financial services practice operating in a regulated industry and are looking to hire an experienced Digital Marketing & SEO freelancer to help us build long-term organic visibility and generate qualified inbound leads.

This role is not about vanity metrics (followers or impressions). We are focused on lead quality, compliance, and sustainable growth.

Scope of Work

The freelancer will be responsible for:
- SEO & Website Growth
- Keyword research and mapping
- On-page SEO optimization
- Content optimization (blogs, service pages, landing pages)
- Local SEO for specific Canadian provinces
- Technical SEO basics (page speed, structure, indexing)
- Ranking for problem-based and educational search terms

Content & Lead Generation
- Educational content strategy (financial planning, insurance, investments)
- Conversion-focused landing page support
- Lead funnel optimization (reviews, consultations, clarity sessions)
- Compliance-safe messaging (no guarantees or misleading claims)

Social Media Optimization (SMO)
- LinkedIn and Instagram strategy (education-focused)
- Content calendar support
- Caption writing aligned with SEO themes
- Supporting short-form video concepts (not required to create videos)

Geographic Focus
- Product-related marketing: Specific Canadian provinces only
- Recruitment marketing: Canada-wide

The freelancer must be comfortable working within geographic and licensing boundaries.
