Digital Marketing Manager for Liberty Capital
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
WHO WE ARE
Liberty Capital Group is a San Diego-based commercial lending broker and direct lender with 20+ years in the business. We fund small and mid-sized businesses others turn away — merchant cash advances, equipment financing, working capital, commercial truck leasing, and more. We don't sell client data. We don't chase leads. We build relationships.
THE ROLE
─────────────────────────────────────────
We need a Marketing Manager Coordinator who can take the wheel on our entire digital presence — website, SEO, content, and distribution — and drive it toward one clear goal: a fully optimized, high-performing website within 90 days, and then keep it that way.
This is a hands-on role. You'll own the strategy AND execute it. When a task falls outside your lane, you'll coordinate the right freelancers to get it done right. You report directly to ownership.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
─────────────────────────────────────────
→ Full oversight of libertycapitalgroup.com (WordPress/Elementor)
→ On-page and technical SEO across 50+ product and industry pages
→ Content creation: blog posts, editorial pages, landing pages, email
→ Organic content distribution: LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, directories, and industry platforms
→ Coordination of freelance designers, copywriters, and developers as needed
→ Keyword research, competitive analysis, and ranking tracking
→ Site speed, Core Web Vitals, and indexing monitoring
→ Brand consistency enforcement — our palette, typography, and tone across every touchpoint
→ Monthly reporting on traffic, conversions, and content performance
WHO YOU ARE
─────────────────────────────────────────
You are NOT the person who delegates everything and calls it strategy. You get in the weeds. You care about the details. You love the intersection of design, words, and data — and you know how all three drive business results.
You bring:
3+ years in digital marketing — SEO, content, web management
Solid working knowledge of WordPress and basic HTML/CSS
Hands-on design skills (Canva, Adobe, Figma — something)
Familiarity with B2B marketing and how business buyers think
Knowledge of the lending, finance, or alternative capital space is a significant plus — you should be able to write about merchant cash advances, factor rates, and equipment leasing without Googling every other sentence
Excellent project management instincts — you can juggle 6 things and not drop any of them
Organized, thorough, and self-directed — you don't need to be told twice
Experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, PageSpeed Insights)
Familiarity with HubSpot or a comparable CRM is a plus
Utilizing AI to automate leads from online forms like HUBSPOT and JOTFORM and CRM
WE PROVIDE - All tools (SEO platform, HubSpot, design stack, hosting access, softwares)
COMPENSATION - commensurate with experience | 20–30 hrs/week
This position has clear potential to grow into a full-time engagement based on performance.
