Hello,
In short my ex boyfriend has been using apps such as burner and hushed to harass me. He calls me everyday multiple times a day from different numbers. I have tried to reach out to both apps and they basically said thanks for letting us know. That’s it. Also I know it’s him because the calls started after we broke up and also when we were together he would show me how he uses the burner app to get a hold of people that weren’t answering him (creepy).
I have a setting on my phone where when you call it rings but instead of going to voicemail it says disconnected. But my phone still rings I still get texts calls etc. The calls had stopped for a few months once I got it but something must’ve happened where he found out this is still my number (maybe mutual friends) and now he’s calling me all over again.
I can change my number but I just became a real estate agent and I will need to be advertising my number/info on social media and several other platforms and he will easily call that number and continue to harass me.
I’d just like to obtain proof it’s him once and for all so I can get a restraining order and take the necessary legal action.
After speaking to several private investigators, once suggested I try reaching out to people who specialize in digital forensics. I hope I can find someone to help. I want life back ?.
