Vintage Wedding Photo Composite

I have two separate wedding-day portraits of my grandparents and I want them woven into one believable image, as if the photographer had actually captured them side by side. The finish must feel authentic to the era—matching grain, lighting, and tonal range rather than looking like a modern montage.

Please place my grandfather to the left of my grandmother, with his left arm appearing naturally around her waist. For scale, he stood about 5′10″ and she 5′7″. Because the original shots were taken against different backdrops, I’m open to your suggestion for a subtle, period-appropriate setting that ties everything together without distracting from their faces and attire but prefer to have them placed in the setting from my grandmother's photo.

At the end I’ll need a high-resolution file suitable for both archival printing (minimum 300 dpi, 8×10″) and sharing online, along with a version that preserves any layered adjustments in case minor tweaks are needed later. If you see any additional restoration or color-correction opportunities that would enhance the realism, feel free to include them in your proposal.
