Take clips from separate pictures to create one portrait of my wife and I
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
My wife and I have known each other since we were 12, but we didn’t date until we were 26. We always talk about the things we missed out on and the things we wish we could have done together. So the idea I have is to use pictures of she and I when we were younger and combine the images to create portraits depicting our younger selves making the memories we missed out on.
The ultimate goal is to create a small book of these portraits, but, at the moment, I’m looking for an artist to create the first one.
The first idea I have is Prom. Neither my wife or I had the chance to go to prom and we wish we could have gone together. I want a portrait of my wife and I at Prom in a classic Prom pose. I have attached the following pictures:
-A picture of the dress she wishes she could have worn to Prom (pic that shows a blonde girl
in a silver dress)
-A picture of the actual backdrop that was used at our prom (pic of the couple in front of the backdrop with a street lamp)
-reference pictures of faces/builds of she and I at around ages 16-18
-better quality reference pics for our faces and her hair (these pics are far more recent, but I figured higher quality pictures of our faces would be helpful seeing as how we don’t look too drastically different than we did in high school)
-reference pictures for height difference(pics of us standing next to one another; I am 5’6, she is 5’0)
-pics of random couples in the classic prom pose for reference. This is the pose I would like to see us in.
-pics of she and I in formal wear from around ages 16-18
From what I have found, this type of commission isn’t common so, if anyone is willing to attempt it, please contact me. I don’t mind if it is hand drawn or digitally illustrated. My only requests as far as style are that it be realistic, in color, and full body.
