Realistic Portrait Photo Editing

I have between one and five portrait shots that need polished, magazine-quality retouching while still looking completely natural. Skin should stay true to life—think subtle blemish removal rather than heavy smoothing—tones need gentle colour balancing, and if a background swap or full removal will lift the image, feel free to apply it. The overarching goal is realism; viewers should notice a great photo, not the editing behind it.

You can work with any combination of Photoshop, Lightroom, or your preferred AI-powered workflow as long as the edits remain non-destructive and reversible.

Deliverables
• 1–5 fully edited, high-resolution portraits (print-ready JPEG plus a web-optimised version)
• Layered source files (PSD or equivalent) for future tweaks
• Short note outlining the key adjustments applied to each image

Acceptance criteria
• Skin texture intact; no plastic effect
• Balanced, true-to-life colours across all images
• Clean edges and no artefacts if backgrounds are altered
• Final files match the original resolution

A quick turnaround—ideally within three days of project award—would be perfect.
