Realistic Birds Digital Illustration

I’m putting together a high-resolution digital illustration that brings three birds—a sparrow, a pigeon, and a peacock—together in a shared natural habitat. The piece must feel lifelike rather than stylised, so close attention to feather texture, accurate colouring, and believable lighting is essential.

Because this is strictly digital artwork, I’ll need the final file delivered in layered PSD (or Procreate) format alongside a flattened PNG large enough for print at A3 without loss of detail. If you normally build up your work in Clip Studio Paint, Krita, or similar, that’s fine too, as long as the exported PSD keeps all layers intact.

Key points to keep in mind:
• Realistic style only—no cartoon or abstract treatment.
• The setting should feel like a true outdoor habitat, with foliage, subtle depth of field, and complementary natural light.
• Each bird must be clearly identifiable and proportional.

Once we’ve agreed on a rough composition sketch, I’ll request one mid-stage preview to confirm colour palette and lighting before you move to final polish. A short note on your preferred brushes and workflow is helpful but not mandatory.

Deliverables
1. Layered source file (PSD or equivalent)
2. Flattened PNG, 300 DPI, minimum 6000 px on the longest side
3. One mid-process preview for sign-off
